As anyone who has used the play lot at Revere Park knows, its
condition is deplorable at best. We believe that the play lot is unhealthy, unsafe and unappealing.
A recent safety
report completed by Injury Free Coalition for KidsŪ pointed out numerous problems with the play lot's current condition. Some
of the issues the report listed as problems are rotting wood and exposed bolts on the play equipment, improper spacing of
equipment to prevent falls or head entrapments, and poor condition and inadequate placement of existing wood chips.
Our
children deserve better.
